Directions

Braithwaite is just a few miles west of Keswick on the A66. From the A66 take the B5292 signposted Lorton (via Whinlatter Pass), Braithwaite and Newlands Valley. After about a half mile take a left signposted Newlands Valley and Buttermere. The Old Farmhouse is a short distance up on the right (look for the Old Farmhouse Mews sign). There is ample parking in the courtyard.
